6 months

I can't believe I'm writing about Lincoln being 6 months old.
6 months! How did that happen so fast.
In the blink of an eye, he's half a year old.

He's a bundle of joy (albeit a BIG bundle), bringing so much love to our hearts.

His smile and laugh are contagious. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, he giggles when he sees the girls. Then they start laughing at his sweet giggles, which just makes all of us laugh harder. Click HERE to hear him yourself.

He has some scrumptious rolls. Like Michelin Tire baby rolls. Those puppies are big, and thick and adorable. There's actually a roll mid-calf. Have you ever seen something so cute?!
He was attacking a new bath toy tonight, going at it like it was the best chew toy he's come across.
I love it!

At 6 months:
* We moved up to size 3 (Pampers), but he continues to blow out. We bought a box of Huggies Movers size 3 and realized they are smaller than the Pampers so now it's a mad dash to get them all used up before he grows out of them altogether.
* Wears 9 month clothing, and even some of that is tight. The pants are either too long or too short depending on the brand; rarely the perfect length. Where oh where are you summer so we can move onto shorts!?
* sleeping about the same. He would prefer to nap either in my arms, or in his crib. Less and less he wants to spend time in his swing. Because we are a family on the move, he has to go with the flow sometimes so keeping his ability to fall asleep anywhere is important.
* is in LOVE with his Johnny Jump Up deal. I'll have to post a video of that soon. He just goes nuts jumping around in that thing.
* favorite toys are ones he can get into his mouth. He's mastered the hand-to-hand switch up of toys and grabs them with either hand equally.
* has rolled over in both directions, but doesn't prefer to show off this new talent. He's content to lay on his back....let's be honest, if he hollers long enough, someone is bound to hand him whatever it is he's wanting. Why would he want to work for that toy?, he's got big sister's to help him out :)
* has been able to enjoy lots of outside time and really enjoys taking it all in. I think the fresh air exhausts him because he sure falls asleep quickly after being outside.
* Ryan swears that hockey is Lincoln's favorite sport. Together they sure have logged a lot of hockey time on TV. Ok, so Lincoln sleeps through most of it, but we won't tell Ryan that.
* has had 3 ear infections and now has 2 teeth. We think ear infection #4 is brewing; it's already fluid filled and today he started tugging on them. Doc wants to wait it out a bit before tubes, so we shall see.
* he loves to blab and "talk". He says "mamama" most often, otherwise it's just squeals and screams.
* recently switched up his feeding schedule to add in more baby food. Currently takes about 5 feedings/day (breastfeeding or bottle with breastmilk) and then eating cereal at lunch plus a veggie or fruit at dinner. He's tried many veggies and the list continues to grow. He's very interested in table food and simply loves his sippy cup of water. Too bad I have yet to find one that doesn't leak. I had hoped that problem was fixed by now....it's been 8 years of leaking sippy cups around this joint!
* Stats: weight is up to 22 lbs, height is 28.4" putting him in the 98th percentile for both

And tonight, I look down into my arms and stare at this adorable face with beautiful long eyelashes as he dreams in my arms.
My heart just melts.

We love you Lincoln Ryan!
