Flashback Friday

November 14, 2010
I wish I had her enthusiasm about the snow
It's coming, I realize that.
Winter is just around the corner and apparently the white fluffy stuff may appear as soon as tomorrow. I heard someone this week talking about the snow and say "good, bring it on. That means spring is coming next.".
Hmph, good thinking :)

Flashback Friday

This one goes way back! Seven years back!
Hunter was the flower girl in our wedding and she is such a doll!

Flashback Friday

Four years ago, we took a family vacation to TN. It was Regan's second flight in less than 2 years of life and minus a burned finger and 2 hour weather delay while on the tarmac (we won't go into details), she thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm guessing her (and our!) enjoyment had something to do with these two:

Dana and Mark with Regan
June 2007
Poor Regan, we totally threw off her bedtime routine while on vacation...she looks exhausted!
And in about a month, Dana and Mark will be welcoming their first baby!!
Congrats!

Flashback Friday

Look closely and you'll see, they are both having fits.
It's been like that lately, apparently winter does this to them.
Regan's working on testing her limits with authority.
Sidney...., well, she's just being a two year old trying to figure out the world.
Bless their hearts.
We still love them to pieces!!!

Flashback Friday

This winter carrier was the best piece of baby gear I had for Sidney (seeing as though I had a toddler on the move who needed outdoor time). It was stinkin' adorable and we got lots of compliments.

Flashback Friday

Tomorrow we will celebrate Regan's 5th birthday with a party surrounded by family. So today I thought I would re-cap the last 4 birthday celebrations....

2007
(digging in and making a complete mess out of her very own cake)

2008
(sporting a "big sister" shirt to announce our 2nd pregnancy to all of her guests;
what a great way to share this news!).

2009
(having just broken her collar bone the night before by falling off our king sized bed)

2010
(Regan's final birthday celebration in our first home)

Flashback Friday

It seems like forever ago that this picture was taken as friends/family helped frame and sheetrock our basement family room. Later today the room will be nearly complete as the furniture gets delivered! I am so giddy, it's like Christmas all over again!

Flashback Friday

A date like no other date. What we wouldn't do to add 2 more chairs to this table and go on this "family" date today!!!

Flashback Friday

This video just makes me smile, ok, more like laugh out loud :) I love watching them groove and seeing Sidney's toothless smile!

Flashback Friday

This week we will celebrate my mom's birthday; don't worry mom, there's no embarrassing surprise party planned like there was in 2007 :) Enjoy this flashback Friday and have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Flashback Friday

Notice the snowflakes?
I thought it was appropriate given all the weather talk lately.....
ready or not, here it comes!
And by the way, I'm not ready!!!!

Flashback Friday

Once upon a time (actually many times) I saw these people in action....
not me and Sheena, the Golden Knights
and decided it would be fun to do this.....
Ryan couldn't let me have all the fun so he did it too!
And can you believe we went back for more?
Wonder if we'd do it all over again?

Flashback Friday

3/2005
Shortly after getting married and taking a wonderful honeymoon to Hawaii, I convinced Ryan to join me on a European tour. Here's one of our photos. We were lucky enough to meet up with many friends/family overseas, and this picture, taken in Germany, is with my cousin Sheena who was studying abroad at the time.
