Busy busy Mondays

Mondays continue to be reserved as grandma days. Every other week, grandma Jan/Sheri (and Pampa!) take turns spending their precious time with their precious granddaughters. Each day we wonder who had more fun: the grandparent or the girls as we all chat over dinner about their days. Today happened to be grandma Jan's Monday and we discovered that the Zoomobile was coming to a local park. So tonight I got to hear all about the "amimals" from Sidney and about the "yucky snake" from Regan. Grandma was the only brave soul to actually touch one.
Eeek! The girls had good intentions, even waiting in line for 5 minutes before hiding behind grandma refusing to get close to that thing. But just look at the size of it!
Wait a minute!? That's not grandma!! Tonight we were joined by Sheena for dinner :) The girls fall in love all over again when Sheena visits. She's got just about as much energy as they do and they all wore each other out this evening.
First we have to stretch....
and then we can start racing across the yard!
Oh poor Sidney! Her legs just aren't long enough to keep up with her big sister!
So onto the football hold it is :)
Great minds think alike!

Once again, it was a busy Monday but full of
fun times and building memories.
That's what life is all about!

Snowstorm

It snowed today...a lot. We have a snow thrower, it's not a snow blower. What is the difference? Well, it's the ability to handle a little versus a lot of snow. Ours can only handle a little. and on a typical snowfall, that's all we need. Not today; not 16+ inches of snow! Ryan went outside to "throw" the snow more than once. He finally came in and said "I just don't know where to put it anymore!", which is sort of the way I feel with all the girls clothes and toys!

He had to put all his might into pushing the thrower just so it would move.
Throughout the day, I took pictures of our figurines, here's the progression as they finally became buried:
Going...
Going....
Gone!!
With Maddi living just down the street and Logan spending the weekend with her, it was great that they could make the 2 minute trek to join us for a fun (warm) evening indoors!

Weekend with Hope

This weekend we had my cousin Hope stay with us during her MEA break from school. It took the girls a couple of hours to warm up to her before they wouldn't go anywhere in the house without saying "where'd Hope go?". It was most funny this morning when they thought she must have left already because even at close to 10am, she was no where to be found. I tried to convince both girls they should take after her and sleep in sometime too :) 6am comes a little early!
Sidney didn't want to sit for a photo so Regan tried holding her and pressing her head still....thanks for the help Regs!
