Merry Christmas!

Regan's first Christmas was a joy! Despite having a double ear infection and the beginning of pink eye, not to mention a new tooth (never again will we sing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth---too much misery in getting a new tooth), she was in fairly good spirits! She didn't get into the presents like we had thought she would, but she had so much fun exploring all the paper, bows, and gifts not to mention the attention from family! She was just adorable in her two dresses :)

First sled ride

The lack of snow this winter has made outdoor playtime difficult. Regan finally got her first sled ride on 12/22/06! She loved being pulled around the yard (not to mention smiling for the camera)!

More fun at daycare

I continue to send along a disposable camera to daycare and as you can see, Regan seems to enjoy spending her days there! She loves the outdoor swing (especially now that she's too big for the indoor swing) and she loves to laugh at the other kids!

Alfalfa!

Looks like we have our very own Alfalfa now :) Pretty soon that hair will be ready for a pony tail! Just a little too thin and fine to hold in place, soap will have to do for now!

Bathtime!

Regan gets pretty excited these days when the bathtub water starts running, she must know it's her time to splash in the water :) Daddy caught this moment of her peaking over the edge of the tub just waiting to be placed into the water.

Daycare Christmas play!

Regan took part in her first Christmas play last night! It was absolutely adorable and we are so thankful to have such a wonderful daycare provider. Although Regan's part was rather small, it was so cute to have the babies included in the festivities! They sang songs, performed a little skit and we had a snowball fight at the end! Since there's no snow yet, we had to use balled up paper instead; no one seemed to mind!

10 months old!

Regan is now 10 months old and keeping mom and dad very busy! She loves to crawl and walk around the house with some help. She's a very happy baby and loves attention!

Regan's first pickle!!!

To keep her busy, we gave Regan a pickle at the dinner table on Monday afternoon at the ESPN Zone. It was a wonderful treat for her and she didn't even make a funny face! We all laughed at her as she ate her pickle right up :) The next day, we gave her a lemon and a lime and she seemed to enjoy sucking on those two as well! Silly little girl!

More trip photos

Baltimore, MD

Whilte out in the DC area, we had the opportunity to visit Baltimore, MD and the Baltimore Aquarium. It was a wonderful experience and Regan seemed to enjoy the dolphin show the best!

Washington DC Trip

On December 8th, we took our first vacation as a family and went to Washington DC for uncle Ben's 30th birthday! It was a big surprise to him and we all had a great time! Regan did great on the airplanes and slept through most of it. She loved all the attention and the time in her stroller walking around in the gorgeous weather! Unfortunately she won't remember much of the trip, that's why we took so many pictures!!

I'm gonna get you!

If there's any incentive for crawling, it's chasing after a puppy! Regan perfected her crawling last weekend going after uncle Ben's puppy, Parker in Washington DC. She had a blast chasing after his fluffy tail; not sure how much fun Parker had!

I love beans!

Happy St. Nick's Day!!

St. Nick stopped in Duluth before heading to Richfield yesterday! He brought Regan her very first UMD hat and it's simply too cute on her little head :) Little dog ears and all, she was all smiles for us.

Here comes trouble!

This face just looks like trouble!! Well, the verdict is in; walking versus crawling???
................crawling. Despite her grumbles and whines, she can crawl pretty well! She's realizing that there's a balance piece invovled in walking and although she could make it places faster and without hurting her knees, she gets mad when we let go of her hand. So for now, it's learning how to look at the pretty Christmas tree from her knees, all while trying so hard not to touch it!
