Volleyball wrap up

Regan played her first season of volleyball this spring and boy was it an eye opener! She came home after the first or second game and asked me "how come everyone has to serve?". The girl was used to softball where there is a designated pitcher (or two or three) so this was a whole new experience for her. It made me realize that she knew far less about the sport than I had thought.

Thankfully her coaches were kind and sweet and laid back as they taught this group of gals not only the rules, but how to actually play the game too! We lucked out with this group. They weren't great, by any means, but they had fun and cheered each other on in small victories (like getting a serve over the net!) and they sure learned a whole lot this year.

The league wraps up with a tournament. It was a quick one for our team, losing in the first round. But it was a great season and she's so happy to have tried it out! Grandma Jan was here babysitting the Monday of the final game; another cheerleader for Regan!

Thank you Lincoln for the photo bomb :)

I was happy to have the chance to watch the girls play and learn. GJ
