Birthday girl

Our oldest is now close to double digits. Nine years ago we became parents. And holy Moses did our lives change. She entered this world over 3 weeks early and has hit the ground running. She talked early, walked early, heck she learned to read early. Her critical thinking skills are excellent (or a little annoying?!), and her desire to "get in on this adult conversation", is profound.
She trusts quickly and cries easily. I'm sure she will suffer a broken heart or two.
She's bored with any "toy", and always has been. Her preference remains with art, crafts, music or swimming.
And this year, we met her wish list by getting her an official swim bag, puzzles with more than 50 pieces, Barnes and Nobel gift card and a swim suit. Sidney came in strong with art supplies and Lincoln gave her something she was so excited to open: a book mark that doubles as a timer AND a book light. She was so happy!

And I just can't believe how big she is getting. She's towering in at 4' 7" and her feet are into size 5! She's eager to grow another size or two so as to fit into my shoes. She thinks that means she will be able to wear my heels!
We are so proud of all that you continue to accomplish Regan! We love you so very much :)
