Our A/C has been on the fritz the last week. It stopped working, we called our "service repair plan" who sent out repair man and did what he thought was fixing it. It stopped working again. They came out again, this time telling us it's a much larger problem and of course, not a covered part of the service repair plan. I'm starting to wonder why we purchase that "plan", which ends up just sucking the money out of us and never repairing anything. I digress.
It was hot today, uncomfortably hot. And we had no A/C.
None.
Nada.
That's when a friend texts me and said "bet you wish you had a pool....oh yeah". So we spent the day outside because 89 inside the house was just too much.
Sidney's becoming VERY comfortable running around in a swimsuit. Notice that little cheek hanging out? Ah, she has my belly sore I laugh so hard over her.
Regan prefers to be IN the water, and who can blame her?! It's much cooler in an 82 degree pool.
Sidney helped me pick raspberries from our patch. The berries are much smaller than last year, but no one seems to mind. We'll take what we can get.
Regan started busting a move at the end of the evening. Click HERE to see a video (notice how she is watching her shadow!?). She's really into the whole lyrical ballet/jazz style of dancing. We'll thank the pre-teen neighbor for that interest; Claire happens to take lessons and is teaching Regan all she knows.
Luckily, we tripped the breaker tonight, said a few prayers and the A/C is back on....for now. We're back down to 79 and it's much more comfortable in here. Next week we'll have a permanent fix!
