Our little boy is growing up so fast! Lincoln turned 10 last month and yet I still think of him as my little toddler. It’s true what they say about the baby of the family: “he will always be my baby”.
His birthday is so close to Halloween, it’s usually a bad time to organize a party. Coupled this year that we were supposed to be in KC for a tournament that was cancelled last minute due to poor weather, we scrambled to find ways to make his day special at home. He chose a new restaurant for dinner, and swears he will pick there again next year. Think of it as an ‘all you can eat meat’ restaurant; and he and Ryan ate it ALL! Even chicken heart!! Not exactly awesome for this vegetarian. But I played along nicely.
He had a great day, and is growing up so fast, it’s sometimes hard to watch. Seems like just yesterday he was our little boy. I listened to a video with his tiny toddler voice and melted like a puddle.
